Xiaomi has announced its 1000th Mi Store in India today located in Rewari, Haryana. In addition to the Mi Store launch, Xiaomi India also announced the launch of 'Mi Studio' which is the company's latest addition to its new retail concept. Mi Studios is an added extension of the Mi Homes and aim to offer a premium brand experience to Mi Fans and consumers in 50 cities. It is an optimized version of Mi Homes replicating the same Mi Home retail design and displaying modern minimalist interiors. The new Mi Studios are located currently in Bangalore and Mumbai, with an average size of 400-600 sq.ft. Xiaomi is planning to open 200 Mi Studios by the end of 2019 across 50 cities. According to Xiaomi, with the new Mi Store, it symbolizes the brand’s immense progress in developing effective innovative retail measures across 300+ cities and 19 states. The company also adds that it has been able to generate employment for over 2000 people. Also, the brand aims to open over 10,000 retail stores across its four offline channels in India by the end of the year 2019.
