Most apps make it pretty easy to turn on 2FA, and Amazon is no exception. Here’s how to enable it and make yourself safer.</p>
<p>You’ll need to be logged in to your Amazon account, either on the Amazon website or in the Amazon app in your phone. Once you’re logged in, go to Your Account > Login & security and click the Edit button next to “Advanced Security Settings.”</p>

<p>On Christmas day, 2013, many delighted people opened up new Xbox and Playstation gifts. That excitement turned to disappointment when they were unable to log onto game services and play. Now the hacker responsible will spend 27 months in jail.</p>
<p>Austin Thompson is the worst kind of trendsetter. Back in 2013, many game services, whether it be Xbox, PlayStation, or Steam, were ill prepared for <a href="https://www.howtogeek.com/281707/what-are-denial-of-service-and-ddos-attacks/">DDOS attacks</a>. That fact became readily apparent when Thompson easily took down multiple services over the Christmas holiday break.</p>
<p>Under the name DerpTrolling, the hacker took requests, made announcements of next targets, and then frequently brought another game service to its knees.</p>
<p>Others took notice and followed suit, DerpTrolling inspired Lizard Squad, Phantom Squad, and others, some of which set up DDOS-for-hire services.</p>
<p>Later in 2014, Federal Agents found and arrested Thomson. In late 2018 he pleaded guilty. Now the hacker has been sentenced to 27 months in prison and ordered to pay $95,000 in restitution. A study shows that ISP supplied routers were unable to achieve full speeds on 100 Mbps networks. <p>To open the Task Manager, right-click your taskbar and select “Task Manager” or press Ctrl+Shift+Esc. There are <a href="https://www.howtogeek.com/66622/stupid-geek-tricks-6-ways-to-open-windows-task-manager/">many other ways to open the Task Manager</a>, too.</p>

<p>In the list of processes, click the “Network” heading to sort the list of running processes by network usage. Watch the list, and you’ll see which applications are using your network along with how much bandwidth they’re using.</p>
<p>(If you don’t see the Network heading, click “More Details” first.)</p>
<p>Technically, this isn’t a complete list—if a process isn’t using much network resources, Windows rounds down to 0 Mbps (Megabits per second.) It’s just a quick way to see which processes are using a noticeable amount of bandwidth.</p>

Both the companies have reported drop in profits for the quarter. Samsung expects revenue of 56 trillion Korean won in Q2 2019, compared to 58.48 trillion Korean won a year ago, and an operating profit of 6.5 trillion Korean won, compared to 14.87 trillion Korean won YoY, which is down 56.2% YoY. This would be Samsung’s lowest profit since Q3 2016. Samsung blames weaker demand for memory chip and display panels. LG Q2 preliminary earnings results LG has also announced preliminary earnings results for the second quarter of 2019. It expects 652.2 billion operating profit, down 15.4% compared to 771 billion won in Q2 2018, and 15.6 trillion revenue, up 3.8% compared to 15.02 trillion won compared to the same quarter last year. According to analysts, reason for decline in profits is mainly due to its sluggish smartphone business, which has been the case for the company for the past few quarters. These companies did not announce the performance of each business division. We should know the exact profit amount and division-wise results when these release full earnings results later this month.
