Samsung today launched the World’s Largest Onyx Cinema LED Screen in India’s tech capital Bengaluru at the Swagath Cinemas. Samsung has launched it along with a group company HARMAN, the brand known for its professional speakers. The Onyx LED Screen is said to offer powerful, captivating and larger-than-life visuals for movie goers. The Onyx Cinema LED screen is 14 metres in size and is 3D applicable with active 3D technology. It is equipped with an array of solutions including Onyx VIEW, Onyx 3D and Onyx SOUND which aims to provide a uniquely immersive experience. The Onyx display can easily accommodate any venue configuration while delivering great visual quality, technical performance and reliability over traditional projectors. The screen maintains its advanced presentation capabilities in ambient lighting conditions, regardless of the featured on-screen content. The Onyx LED screen is installed at Swagath Cinemas in Bengaluru and it has a seating capacity of 618 seats. With regards to the acoustics in the theatre, it is upgraded with JBL Professional cinema loudspeakers from HARMAN.
