Micromax has launched two new feature phones, Joy X1800 and Joy X1850. The main highlight is that these Joy series of smartphones come in pouch packaging rather than box. This is the first ever pouch packaging phones in the Indian market claims Micromax. Both these smartphone have a 1.77-inch (128 x 160 pixels) QQVGA colored screen, dual SIM support, a rear camera, Bluetooth 3.0, expandable memory up to 4GB, FM Radio, Flashlight and more. Commenting on the launch, Vineet Taneja, CEO, Micromax Informatics Limited, said, We introduce products which offer great value to the consumers. With the launch of Joy series, we have taken a lead yet again by offering a unique combination of innovative packaging and great value through our offerings. The Micromax Joy X1800 has a durable body, dust-proof keypad and packs a 750mAh battery that promises standby time of up to 235 hours and 3 hours of talk time.
