Last month Samsung announced that it sold 2 million Galaxy A series smartphone in 40 days, today the company has announced that it has sold 5 million units in 70 days. This includes Galaxy A10, A20, A30, A50, A70 and the Galaxy A2 Core since March 1st. The company added that it generated over US$ 1 billion in revenue for the company, and aims to sell US$ 4 billion worth of Galaxy A smartphones this year. Samsung said that the Galaxy S10+ flagship is also doing very well in India, helping the company consolidate its number 1 ranking in the premium segment. Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A80 smartphone with a rotating camera in India in the coming weeks, and is also rumored to launch the Galaxy M40 smartphone in June.
