OPPO today shared an image of the upcoming K3 smartphone, successor of last year's K1. The company has also confirmed that it will come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 91.1% screen-to-body ratio and DC dimming, 16-megapixel pop-up front camera that lifts in 0.74 seconds. The pop-up mechanism has been tested over 200,000 times, says the company. It is powered by Snapdragon 710, compared to Snapdragon 660 in the predecessor and has an in-display fingerprint scanner, which should be an improved version. The image shows a gradient back with cured corners. It is said to come with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Another image confirms 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port on the bottom. Earlier rumors revealed a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera. The OPPO K3 will come in White, Green and Purple colors. We should know the price when it goes official next Thursday. Source 1, 2
