Update : May 8, 2019 — After a delay, LG has confirmed that it will roll out the LG V50 ThinQ 5G smartphone from May 10th in Korea. Pricing remains the same — 1,199,000 won (US$ 1,016 / Rs. 71,019 approx.) for the phone and the Dual-Screen accessory costs 2,19,000 won (US$ 185 / Rs. 12,970 approx.), which is free those who buys the phone till June-end. It also offers one-year free replacement service for customers who purchase the phone before May 13. Update: April 16, 2019 — LG today announced that it has decided to postpone the launch of the LG V50 ThinQ scheduled for launch on April 19th in Korea. The company said that this move is to optimize the Snapdragon 855 and X50 5G Modem's functions and network interoperability with the existing LTE network. This move is to avoid bad network experience for customers purchasing the LG V50 ThinQ. LG said that it has been working closely with Qualcomm and domestic mobile operators to improve its 5G service and smartphone interoperability, including Software, Hardware and network.
