Dropbox, the file hosting company has announced a new feature to its software today. The company announces the integration with Google Docs, Sheets and Slides which means that users can now work with these directly from Dropbox. At Google Cloud Next '19, Dropbox has made the announcement of the integration of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides and the functionality is in open beta for now. With this new functionality, the user can create and store Docs, Sheets, and Slides files in any Dropbox folder, right alongside traditional files, once the user is signed into both Google and Dropbox accounts. Apart from this, the new feature will allow the user to search for everything on Dropbox viz Docs, Sheets and Slide files. The user can also make use of the full-text search feature which will show results content of the user's Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Users can also create web-based files and also edit their existing files. Apart from this, users can add a Docs, Sheets, or Slides file to a shared Dropbox folder and it will automatically grant members access without leaving Dropbox.
