Press image of the phone revealed a similar design as the predecessor with subtle differences, as well as October 10 announcement date. The phone surfaced on AnTuTu last week confirming some of the specifications, including whopping 512GB of storage, up from 64GB storage on the first-generation gaming smartphone, Snapdragon 845 with 8GB of RAM and Android 8.1 (Oreo). It is expected to feature the same 5.7-inch QHD Sharp IGZO screen with refresh rate of up to 120Hz and support for Qualcomm Q-Sync. It will compete with the other latest flagship smartphones such as ROG Phone, Xiaomi Black Shark and others. We should know more details including the price when the phone goes official next month.
