<p>If you want to skip all the other steps, just wait to carve your pumpkin the night before and simply let nature takes its course. After all, there’s no need for preservation tricks when the use window is only 24 to 48 hours.</p>
<p>But let’s get real; given you’re reading this article, there’s a good chance you’re the kind of person who can’t possibly wait until the night before to carve your pumpkins. You want to bask in all things Halloween for the entire month of October.</p>
<h2>Disinfect Your Pumpkin with Bleach</h2>
<p>Think back to Halloweens past, and the horror of discovering your artfully carved pumpkin is barely limping along. What stands out? Most likely, the mold gracing your jack-o’-lantern’s toothy grin.</p>
<p>A pumpkin is organic, and you have to protect it from the constant attacks of microscopic invaders. You can fight back at several stages of the process with bleach.</p>
<p>After you open the pumpkin and scoop out all the seeds (put them aside if you’d like to turn them into a tasty treat), clean the interior of the pumpkin thoroughly with a spoon or rounded tool. Scrape out all the seeds, stringy bits, and other pumpkin guts until you have a smooth, interior surface. The less surface area there is for mold to attack, the better.</p>

<p>While FWIW isn’t the most popular piece of slang on the internet, it routinely finds its way into Twitter posts, message boards, and chat rooms. But what does FWIW mean, where’d it come from, and how do you use it?</p>
<h2>For What It’s Worth</h2>
<p>FWIW means “for what it’s worth.” It’s an idiom that rarely carries any literal meaning, and it’s used to politely express that someone should consider an opinion, idea, or fact (usually because their opinion is flawed).</p>
<p>If it helps, imagine that FWIW means, “You can ignore what I’m going to say, but I think you should hear it anyway.” The phrase doesn’t really change the overall meaning of your sentence, it just adds a polite tone to what you’re saying.</p>
<p>So instead of telling a friend, “You have no idea what you’re talking about, <a href="https://www.howtogeek.com/206662/should-you-get-an-ultra-hd-4k-tv/">4K TVs</a> have four times the pixel resolution of HD TVs,” you could just say, “FWIW, 4K TVs have four times the pixel resolution of HD TVs.”</p>
<p>Interestingly, FWIW can also be used to inject a snarky, empathetic, or even dismissive tone in your sentence. These tones mostly come from context, but as a general rule, any use of “FWIW” that can be replaced with “FYI” has a snarky tone. (“FWIW, toothpaste kills bad breath germs.”)</p>
<p>It’s worth noting that FWIW is usually (but not always) used at the beginning of a sentence. This is called a prepositional phrase, and it’s used to tell readers you’re about to politely contradict (or confirm) somebody else’s opinion.</p>
<h2>FWIW Has Been Around for Ages</h2>
<p>As an idiom, “for what it’s worth” has been around <a href="https://www.google.com/search?tbo=p&tbm=bks&q="for+what+it%27s+worth"&tbs=,cdr:1,cd_min:Dec+23_2+1499,cd_max:Jan+31_2+1900&num=10">since at least the 1800s</a>. The phrase actually has its origins in economics, and it was initially used to express the literal value of products, goods, or people. A 1600s farmer might pledge he’ll only buy a horse “for what it’s worth,” while a tax collector might try to “rob you for all you’re worth.”</p>
<p>There was a time when this economic meaning overlapped with our modern meaning. You can see this overlap in stories like <a href="https://books.google.com/books?id=A9JZAAAAcAAJ&pg=PA324&dq="for+what+it%27s+worth"&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj9_6ykiMnkAhVN1VkKHckLAbEQuwUwBHoECAMQBA#v=onepage&q="for%20what%20it's%20worth"&f=false">The Merchant Service</a> (1844), where one character tells another, “Your opinion goes for what it’s worth—nothing.” (The characters in this play are merchants, and the author is using “for what it’s worth” as a pun.)</p>

<p>But this “economic” subtext has mostly faded away. Now, “for what it’s worth” is just an empty idiom. It doesn’t actually add much meaning to a sentence, it just makes you sound polite when you’re correcting someone. Knowing this, it’s no surprise the phrase has shortened into FWIW. Nobody wants to type out “for what it’s worth” just to be polite.</p>

Now a new, unknown Motorola smartphone has surfaced on a Motorola Facebook fan group revealing a no-notch screen, pop-up front camera, dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner with a notification LED ring around it. The pop-up camera on the top right side of the phone. This will be the first Motorola smartphone to feature a pop-up camera. We had seen punch-hole display on the One Vision and One Action. We still don't know any other specification of the smartphone or which under which series it will launch. Earlier rumors said that this is not an Android One smartphone, and we don't have Android One branding on the back of the phone. Since the Motorola One Zoom is not an Android One phone, this might also not be an Android One phone, but launch under Motorola One series. We should know more details in the coming weeks. The 7T Pro McLaren Edition is said to pack 12GB RAM. The OnePlus 7T Pro Launch Event will take place at the Magazine London Theater in London on 10th October 2019 at 16:00 BST (8:30PM IST). There will also be a launch event in India simultaneously. OnePlus 7T Pro with 5G support is expected at the London event along with the 4G version for other countries.
