Back in June, it was reported that Facebook is testing with a set of users giving them the ability to add copyrighted music to their photos. Looks like the company is expanding the same; starting this week, Facebook users will see the option to add songs to their photo and video posts. This feature will be available for both Stories and News Feed posts. You can upload a photo/video, then tap on the sticker icon and choose the music sticker from the list of songs. After you have chosen the track, Facebook will load the song, giving you an option to choose which portion of the tune to use. The post will show the title of the song and its artist in a sticker on your post. The company has been partnering with the music industry to make Lip Sync Live and the ability to add music to 360-degree videos. This marks the good use of its partnerships to expand music-related offerings to users. However, it is currently only available to a small number of users but will expand to more markets and users globally in the days to come.
