HTC was the first company to confirm Android Pie update for its smartphones - HTC U12+, U11+, U11, and U11 life. The company rolled out Android Pie update for its U11 life Android One smartphone back in November last year. 7 month after confirmation of Android Pie update for its flagship HTC U12+, U11+, U11 smartphones, HTC today confirmed that it will roll out the update for the phones starting from Q2 2019, which is between April and June. We wanted to share the status on the Android 9 update. HTC is currently working on ensuring the update is compatible with our phones & we anticipate a release for U11, U11+ & U12+ customers starting Q2’19.
