Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+, Note9 have all got the Android 9.0 Pie update which brings new One U.I and the update started rolling out in India this week. Now the company has started accepting beta registrations for the S8 and the Galaxy S8+, and according to reports the stable is expected to roll out sometime in February or March. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ update notification went live in the Samsung Members app in India first. Since the Note8 beta has also been released in other markets such as South Korea and the United Kingdom, you can expect the same for S8 and S8+ as well. The test beta builds for these devices were spotted on Samsung’s servers not too long ago. The registrations for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ One UI beta program are now open through the Samsung Members app. The beta firmware version of the S8 is G950FXXU4ZSA5 and G955FXXU4ZSA5 for the Galaxy S8+. The beta update is around 1.6GB and it brings January security patch. As we had mentioned earlier, it might take some tim efor the stable update rolls out for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+. Source
