Facebook celebrated February 4th as Friends Day and it has introduced a way to show gratitude to your friends and family with a personalized Friends Awards and videos. You will now see a message from Facebook at the top of News Feed along with a small video. Once the video ends, you can create and share your own Friends Awards pre-made or by creating your own from a template, like "Bestie," "Great Listener" and "Knows How to Make Me Laugh." To crank it up a notch, Facebook is offering three unique Camera filters for people to share. It is also celebrating Friends Day with a series of short films that highlight five remarkable friendships from around the world. This is a really interesting feature and helps to connect friends in a much better way. In a post, Facebook said: From the beginning, Facebook has been about connecting with your friends, which is why we’re inspired to see more than 750 million new friendships formed on Facebook each day.
