Motorola has started rolling out soak tests for Android 5.0 Lollipop on Moto Maxx and Moto E. The company is starting the soak test for Moto Maxx users in Brazil and Mexico, along with the Moto E users in Brazil and India. Motorola said that as this is a soak test the Lollipop update will hit to a small test group. If the update gets a good feedback and review from these users, the company will expand it to a larger group. Moto E users in India can prepare for the upgrade by making sure they have the latest version of Motorola Update Services from the Play Store. Motorola started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update to Moto G (1st and 2nd generation) last month in India. While the Moto X 2nd generation began the Lollipop update in December 2014 in the country. Earlier this month, Android distribution numbers from Google revealed that 5.0 Lollipop is present on 1.6% of all current Android devices as of February 2. The percentage will surely increase as more and more manufacturers start rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
