The long awaited Android One project by Google (and its local partners) now has a launch date, and it isn't too far! The Android One project is something that is the outcome of a booming market, that thrives on affordable hardware. That pretty much defines the Indian market, which is exactly where Google is looking to make it big with the Android One. And for that, the Mountain View giant announced the project that will have on offer sub-$100 Android smartphones, with software support directly from Google. All in all, the Android One project will deliver a Nexussy experience, but on a smaller scale. According to the launch invites that Google has been sending out, the event will be hosted on September 15th, starting 12pm. The company isn't giving away too much as you would expect, but manages to keep us interested with a "more details closer to the date!" line in the end.
