You might have heard about Internet.org project, which is a global cooperation between technology leaders, non-profits, local communities and experts who are dedicated to making internet access available to the two thirds of the world, not yet connected. The current partners for the global mission include Qualcomm, Facebook, Samsung, Ericsson, Opera, MediaTek and Nokia. The vision is led by three mail goals – • Making Internet access more affordable • Building more efficient technologies • Helping businesses to drive access Qualcomm and Facebook are working actively on expanding their mission with tests in various regions. The organization is looking at India as their next destination to help the major part of the country to be connected.
