Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7S smartphone with 48MP rear camera yesterday in India as the company's latest addition in the popular Note series lineup. Redmi Note 7S is a rebranded version of Chinese Redmi Note 7 model. Now the company has confirmed that the Note 7S will be replacing Redmi Note 7 in India. Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7S have almost identical design and specifications excluding the rear camera setup. Redmi Note 7S packs a 48-megapixel rear camera with 1/2″ Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera. On the other hand, Redmi Note 7 packs a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX486 sensor with f/2.2 aperture along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera.
