Google is expanding the real-time translations on the Pixel Buds to all Google Assistant-optimized headphones. The company has updated their Pixel Buds support pages yesterday saying that “Google Translate is available on all Assistant-optimized headphones and Android phones.” Prior to this change, the feature was limited to Pixel Buds where it can convert real-time speech from a foreign language into your primary language. It supports up to 40 languages that can be translated in real-time using Google Translate. This means that the USB-C buds that Google includes in the box with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL can do real-time translations.
