After the Honor event, in which the company announced the Magic 2 with a full-screen display with ultra narrow bezels and a slide-out design, Xiaomi Co-founder and President Lin Bin posted a photo of the smartphone and said that it will be introduced in October. This will likely be the Mi MIX 3, successor of the Mi Mix 2S, which was introduced  earlier this year. He did not reveal any details about the phone, but it will likely include 3D face unlock that was introduced in the Mi 8, large FHD+ AMOLED display with screen-to-body ratio of over 90%,  Snapdragon 845 with up to 8GB, and similar AI dual rear cameras as the Mi 8. It is doubtful if there will be an in-display fingerprint sensor, but there might be a special edition with the feature, like the  Mi 8 Explorer Edition. The company's CEO Lei Jun posted on weibo that he will make his colleagues to speed up the mass production to begin the sale of the smartphone by the end of October. Source
