Ultimate Ears has introduced BOOM 3 and MEGABOOM 3 portable, waterproof Bluetooth speakers with 360-degree sound, two-toned, high performance fabric body. These also have Magic Button on top of the speaker to play, pause and skip tracks directly on the speakers. These provide deeper bass and improved clarity over the original MEGABOOM, says the company. When paired with the iOS mobile app, you get one-touch access to all of your favorite playlists on Apple Music, and the Magic Button lets you access playlists on Deezer Premium on Android. Additional music services will be added in future. Thanks to new IP67 rating, the speakers are water-proof, drop-proof and dust-proof. It has improved Bluetooth range up to 150 feet and are compatible with the Ultimate Ears POWER UP charging dock (sold separately) for a simple, wireless charge, plus you can charge the speakers upright thanks to the repositioned USB port. The BOOM & MEGABOOM app also has PartyUp feature and allows you to connect up to 150 speakers—as well as a custom equalizer (EQ), and remote on/off controls, all in a newly designed interface.
