Last year OPPO joined the Wireless Power Consortium, a group of companies for developing and promoting the Qi wireless charging standard. Now a new OPPO Wireless Charger (OAWV01) has been certified by the WPC. This reveals that it will be a 40W charger and has the Qi version number v1.2.4. It shows a white with gray finish, a button in silver finish, place to keep the phone and a LED notification light in white that is hardly visible. On the front it says Air VOOC, which should be the name of the charger. On the bottom there is OPPO branding, vents and a fan to keep the charger temperature low. It also has OPPO and Qi branding, and confirms 40W wireless charging support as well as up to 65W wired charging (9V-2.5A / 5V-6A / 10V-6.5A). 3C certification already confirmed that Ace2 will support fast charging up to 65W, same as last year's Reno Ace.
