The whole world is fighting the coronavirus pandemic and the outbreak has impacted many. As many places in the world are under lockdown, many companies are introducing special measures to help people. Yesterday, Airtel announced prepaid pack validity extension and free Rs. 10 talk time to 80 million users. On similar lines, now, Reliance Jio has announced special measures to assist Jio users impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Reliance Jio has announced that JioPhone users' validity has been extended, and they will be able to receive incoming calls post validity expiration. Apart from this, JioPhone users get free 100 minutes of calls and 100 SMS till April 17th, 2020. This move comes after the company recently announced a free 10Mbps JioFiber broadband connection in feasible areas and double data for JioFiber users. As users would find it difficult to recharge their Jio account from physical stores due to the lockdown, the company has also provided alternative channels to recharge, such as ATM, UPI, Call, SMS, etc. The online recharge partners include Google Pay, PhonePe, PayTM, Amazon Pay UPI, Mobikwik, FreeCharge.
