Huami Corporation, the makers of the Amazfit Verge has released an update to the smartwatch in India that enable two new functionalities; Amazon Alexa Voice-Assistant integration and the ability for iOS users to make and receive calls using the device's in-built microphone and speakers. With the Alexa integration built in now, users can now speak to Amazfit Verge smartwatch and get the following: Flash Briefing — Set up and enable Alexa skills of your favorite news providers such NDTV or Cricinfo to personalize daily “Flash Briefing”. Sports Update — Follow your favourite cricket team and track the latest cricket scores. Alarm — Set a reminder or wake-up alarm. To-do list — Manage your schedule and to-do list. Q and A — With Alexa built-in, users can get answers to common questions. The smartwatch requires the installation of the Amazfit Verge smartwatch app, “Amazfit Watch” which is available for free on iOS and Android.
