Xiaomi launched the Redmi 7 smartphone in India last month, and the phone went on sale for the first time starting April 29th through Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting at Rs. 7999. It was sold every Monday after that, now the phone is available through open sale in the country in less than one month of launch. The Redmi Y3 that was launched alongside is yet to go on open sale, but the Redmi Note 7 went on open sale last month. To remind you, the phone packs a 6.26-inch HD+ Dot notch display, is powered by Snapdragon 632 SoC with up to 3GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10, features a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for capturing depth information in portrait shots. It also has an 8-megapixel camera on the front. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection on the front, features dual color finish with Aura Smoke design, features P2i nano coating making it splash proof, has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, comes with dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots and packs a 4000mAh battery.
