Xiaomi is not only popular for its smartphones and electronic, but it is also popular for its IoT products. The company has invested in more than 90 IoT and lifestyle companies. At the Google I/O 2018 this week announced the company its smart home products will now work with the Google Assistant, allowing users to control products through a smart speaker, like the Google Home, or with the Google Assistant app. The initial set of products include Mi Bedside Lamp, Mi LED Smart Bulb and Mi Smart Plug, which will launch in the U.S. starting from this month. These products are currently available in China and few other countries. The Mi Bedside Lamp will be the first to launch in the U.S. later this May, followed by the Mi LED Smart Bulb and Mi Smart Plug later. Source
