Xiaomi launched the Redmi 5A smartphone recently. We already brought you the review of the phone, here we have the battery life test results of the phone. It packs a 3000mAh (typical) / 2910mAh (minimum) built-in battery, has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by Snapdragon 425, has 2GB or 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) with MIUI 9. Check out the test results below. Talk Time It lasted for 25 hours and 5 minutes in our talk time test. 3G Browsing It lasted for 6 hours and 42 minutes in our 3G browsing test. WiFi Browsing It lasted 9 hours and 6 minutes in our WiFi Browsing test. Video Playback It lasted for 11 hours and 8 minutes in our video playback test, same as Redmi 4A. Charging Time It took 2 hours 16 mins for charging it from 0 to 100% since it doesn't have support for fast charging. Standby Time It lasted for 33 days in our standby test. It achieved a One Charge Rating of 12 hours and 38 minutes, slightly less than 12 hours and 53 minutes rating for the Redmi 4A since this has a smaller battery.
