According to a report from Mac Otakara, Apple is said to introduce a new iPhone SE model in May. This new piece of information was obtained from case makers at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics trade show in Hong Kong this week. Furthermore, the next-gen SE is said to retain the same physical size as the current iPhone SE. The iPhone SE 2 (if that's what Apple is planning on naming it) will also pack the TouchID and will have the same 4-inches display with thick bezels on top and bottom to accommodate the front-camera, TouchID, and earpiece. Following the trend of iPhone 7, the new SE 2 will also likely skip the 3.5mm audio jack. If all, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are likely to be discontinued in September, meaning Apple will no longer sell any iPhone model with a headphone jack. The Apple iPhone SE new model will also power the A10 Fusion chipset which is up to 40 percent faster than the A9 processor in the current iPhone SE. It is also reported that new iPhone SE may have a glass back with wireless charging capabilities, but it is inconclusive at this time.
