Skype Translator that was launched in December last year has added support for two new languages. The real time translation tool now speaks Italian and Mandarin languages. "Today, we meet another chapter for Skype Translator on our journey to enrich the way we communicate with family and friends around the world. Our long term goal is to translate as many languages as possible on all relevant platforms, and deliver the best Skype Translator experience for our more than 300 million connected customers." Skype posted in a company blog. Skype Translator service is still in the preview stage for Windows 8.1 PCs and tablets. The tool translates the conversations on Skype from one language to another in real time. It displays the text at the bottom of the screen in both the languages. In addition to the two new languages, updates to the preview include a few interesting features designed to make translated conversations feel more natural. With text-to-speech translation, users can now “listen” to their instant messages, even if they are written in another language.
