Samsung announced the Galaxy Mega 2, its latest Galaxy Mega series smartphone in September. The 6-inch phablet thenwent on salein India last month for Rs 20,900. We have already seen the unboxingphoto gallery and benchmarks of the Mega 2. Now lets compare the Galaxy Mega 2 with HTC Desire 816. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has a 6-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display while the Desire 816 has 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display.The former device is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and the latter is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. Mega 2 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has a 1.5 GB RAM, 8GB Internal Memory, expandable memory up to 64GB with micro SD while, the HTC Desire 816 also runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with HTC Sense 5.5 UI on the top. It has 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, expandable memory with micro SD. Front facing camera on both the devices is 5MP however, Desire 816 also supports 720p HD recording.
