Microsoft has updated Skype app in order to support large screen sizes on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The version 5.6 brings an optimized user interface that is suitable for large screen of the latest iPhones. With the latest update, Skype now supports all screen sizes from the 3.5-inches of the iPhone 4 up to the 5.5-inches of the new 6 Plus. However, iPhone 6 Plus owners will experience biggest difference as they will view additional messages and chat logs on the larger screen. In addition, to UI optimizations, the app now lets users mark individual conversations as read/unread, displays presence indicators in the recent contacts list. It also includes more info for contacts and time zones on contract profiles. Moreover, the app will now mute all notification sounds when using Do not disturb. This is the second major update received by Skype iPhone app. Last month, the app added interactive notifications for iOS 8 while in June the app got a major makeover with a revamped UI and other improvements.
