Google Play Music is gearing up to receive the Material Design feature from Android 5.0 Lollipop. Earlier this month, we saw Play Store receiving the update with revamped UI and bold use of color palette. Now, some leaked screenshots show the Material Design update for Google Play Music. We can see that Google has used bold colors even for the Play Music app. One of the first changes is the use of larger images for Album Art. The app now boasts of an orange theme that is seen on the status bar as well as few keys. Icons have now become small and the typography has changed. The hamburger menu that was seen even on the Play Store is now available for Play Music. The individual track playback interfacehas new iconography for playback and ratings, along with new queue, repeat, and shuffle icons. "I am feeling lucky radio" shortcut is now seen on top of Recommendations. It is not known when will Google update the Play Music but it looks like it will be updated soon. Android Police
