Apple will shut down Beats Music and integrate it to iTunes, according to a latest report from the Wall Street Journal. The report states that it has heard about this information from a familiar source. iTunes revenue dropped about 14% since the beginning of 2014. The report comes a month after Apple denied rumors about shutting down Beats Music. The report does not mention how will the Beats integration with iTunes will exactly look like. Apple announced the Beats acquisition in May this year for $3.2 billion. Digital Music purchase has declined owing to the rise of music streaming services like Spotify, Pandora and others.The Beats integration will make Apple's iTunes even stronger. Apple already has iTunes Radio service that was announced last year. The company is also expected to reduce the subscription charges to $5 a month where the current rate is $10 for other streaming services. via
