OnePlus have always maintained their unique marketing strategy, which has often landed them in controversy. The latest ordeal that the company got into has a nice ring to it - Ladies First. According to the contest, female users of the forums were asked to upload pictures of themselves. Uploaders of 50 pictures with the highest number of likes were to get an invite, or a chance to buy the OnePlus One, the company's only device. Not only that, T shirts and a OnePlus One were up for grabs as well. However, the contest sparked reaction from all around the world, as you would expect. OnePlus soon took off the thread, which was previously accessible via this link. Do you think OnePlus marketing has gone overboard? A company as young as OnePlus could very well do without some bad press!
