Lava A5 feature phone sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It has a candybar form factor and is a Dual SIM handset that operates in GSM 900/1800MHz frequency. It has a VGA rear camera that has supports zoom and video recording, and expandable memory up to 32GB. It supports USB, Bluetooth connectivity, multimedia player, and wireless FM with recording. It comes with a new 'Super Ultra Tone Technology / Sound Leakage Resistance' that enables clear sound during phone calls by separating the speaker and receiver and eliminates sound leakage.
