Apple has announced that it is investing $200 million in Gorilla glass maker Corning Incorporated from it’s new Advanced Manufacturing Fund. The investment will support “Corning’s R&D, capital equipment needs and state-of-the-art glass processing”. Corning’s partnership with Apple began a decade ago with the first iPhone.
