But if you’ve never used one, you might be curious as to how they work and when they’re useful.</p> <h2>Smart Displays Are Smart Speakers with a Screen</h2> <p>When it comes down to it, a smart display (like the Echo Show or the Google Home Hub) is just a traditional smart speaker with a screen tacked on for visual presentation. So think of a regular Echo or Google Home, but with a built-in screen.</p> <p><img src="https://www.howtogeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/DSC_0095.jpg" /></p> <p>I describe this like it’s not a huge deal, but depending on how you use it, a smart display can completely change how you would typically use a voice assistant in your home.</p> <p>Instead of asking Alexa or Google Assistant about the weather and then just listening to the forecast, they both can <em>show</em> you the forecast with the built-in display, which can be much more helpful and useful. Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Android Pie Beta testing to start soon as the company opens registrations

Xiaomi Mi A2 Android 9.0 Pie stable update starts rolling out in India

At the event, Xiaomi and Google promised Android version updates along with monthly security patch updates as the device was launched under the Android One program. Today the company has rolled out stable Android 9.0 (Pie) update for the smartphone, as it had promised, after few months of beta testing. Android P includes Adaptive Battery that uses machine learning to prioritize system resources for the apps, App Actions that helps you raise the visibility of your app and help drive engagement using machine learning, and Slices are a new way to surface rich, templated content in places like Google Search and Assistant. Xiaomi Mi A2 Android Pie update is 1.06GB in size and also includes Android security patch for November 5, 2018. According to reports, camera2 API has not been enabled with the update.
