Apple Pay set for UK roll out

According to The Telegraph, the Cupertino-based giant is in talks with UK banks to bring Apple Pay to the UK early next year. According to their sources, the negotiations are proving difficult as their are concerns over which information the company will be able to access. The unnamed bank - which is one of the biggest banks in the UK - is understood to be uncomfortable with amount of personal and financial information Apple wants to collect and store about its customers. The sources also claim that executives fear that the amount of information Apple will hold could lead to an expansion into the banking industry. Apple Pay was launched alongside the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and takes advantage of the new NFC-based chip in the handsets. The feature means the iPhone range finally offers mobile payments and initial feedback from the USA suggests that the service could be the answer to the UK banking industry's attempts to persuade customers to pay with their mobile device. Lenovo to announce affordable 4G LTE smartphone for India at CES 2015

It will be powered by Snapdragon 410 processor. Other specifications of the smartphone are not available yet. Lenovo says that it will be showcased at CES next week and launch in India soon after. Lenovo recently unveiled the Lenovo K3 smartphone with Snadpragon 410 SoC, Dual SIM, 4G LTE support, 5-inch HD display, Android 4.4, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot and 2300mAh battery in China for just 599 Chinese Yuan (US$ 96 / Rs. 6130 approx.). So this could be launched in a different name for global markets at CES 2015 or it might completely be a different smartphone. Budget 4G smartphone market is heating up in India, since several operators are gearing up to launch 4G services in the country in 2015. HTC hints at Desire smartphone launch for CES 2015

The Taiwanese manufacturer has shared an image with the tagline "Always Desire more" on its social media channels in China, along with a reveal date of January 6. Specs about the upcoming Desire phone are not available at present. As HTC has recently launched the Desire 820, it is not likely that it will launch its successor so soon. Popular leakster @upleaks has also stated that the next Desire which is touted as "selfie phone" is codenamed A-52 and will likely have a 13MP front facing camera. The phone will support Dual SIM and will hit Asian markets like India, Singapore, Indonesia and so on. Meanwhile, specs of HTC Hima has been leaked and appeared on AnTuTu benchmark with all the specs.
