As per the latest report, the Cupertino giant is working on a larger 'Plus' variant as well. The details about the iPhone 9 Plus has been snapped from iOS 14 code snippets. According to the leaked information, the iPhone 9 and 9 Plus will be the successor to the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Both the smartphones are expected to be powered by A13 Bionic chip, the same processor used in the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. This makes the iPhone 9 series a perfect option for those who are waiting for a cheaper upgrade. Furthermore, the report revealed that both iPhone 9 and 9 Plus would feature the trademark home button with an integrated Taptic Engine to simulate clicks and reduce hardware failures. Since it is rumored to be an entry-level iPhone, the upcoming iPhone 9 series will have Touch ID instead of Face ID.
