Sony recently launched RX100 VII compact camera with a new 1.0-type stacked 20.1 MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor, real-time tracking, and more. Expanding its camera lineup, Sony has today launched its new Alpha 7R IV camera with a full-frame 61MP sensor, real-time tracking, real-time eye autofocus, high-speed continuous shooting and more. Sony Alpha 7R IV (model ILCE-7RM4) camera sports a 2.9-inch TFT touchscreen monitor which is adjustable up by approx. 107 degrees, down by approx. 41 degrees. It has a 0.5-inch Ultra-XGA OLED viewfinder, features a 35 mm full-frame back-illuminated CMOS sensor with 61.0 megapixels, 5-axis optical in-body image stabilisation, and has the ability to shoot 68 images continuously. The image sensor is accompanied by the BIONZ X image processing engine for enhanced picture detail and noise reduction. It supports E-mount lenses, features fast hybrid AF with wide focus area, and has a focus sensitivity range of EV-3 to EV20. It also supports high continuous shooting at up to 10 fps with full Auto Focus/Automatic Exposure tracking for approx. 7 seconds in full-frame mode and features 15-stop dynamic range at low sensitivities for smooth natural gradations ranging from deep shadows to highlights.
