Details about the upcoming Snapdragon 865 SoC from Qualcomm surfaced back in May, later in June, another rumor said that it will  come in two versions condenamed ‘Kona’ and ‘Huracan’, one with integrated X55 5G modem and the other one without it. Now the Snapdragon 865 'Kona' SoC has surfaced on Geekbench. The prototype device runs Android 10 'Q' and the phone has 6GB of RAM. This has registered a score of 4160 points for single-core and 12946 for Multi-Core. The single core score is way better than Snapdragon 855 and 855 Plus, which is around 3600, but this couldn't beat the Apple A12 Bionic on iPhone XS series and the XR that scored over 4700 points and the latest Exynos 9825 SoC on the Galaxy Note 10 series that scored around 4500 points. However, the Multi-Core performance is better than the Apple A12 Bionic and Snapdragon 855 Plus which is around 11200, and it is way better than the Exynos 9825, which is around 10500.  Apple should launch its next-generation A13 SoC that will power its 2019 iPhones that will be unveiled next month. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 is said to support LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. It will likely power the next-generation flagships coming next year, including the Galaxy S11 series. ...
