Samsung just launched the Galaxy M40, the company's latest mid-range smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has similar specifications as the Galaxy A60 that was introduced back in April that includes a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O LCD screen with 91.8% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with Samsung One UI, features a 32-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, secondary 5-megapixel camera for portrait shots and an 8-megapixel 123° ultra wide-angle lens. It also has a 16-megapixel front camera. It uses screen sound technology that uses the phone’s screen as an earpiece. The phone has a gradient back, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM slot and a 3500mAh battery with 15W fast charging, but this lacks the 3.5mm audio jack, however the company is offering USB Type-C earphones in the box.
