Apple launched its portable media player, iPod touch 6th generation in July 2015 and did not update the lineup after that. Recently, there were reports regarding the launch of iPod touch 7th generation and finally today, Apple has launched 2019 iPod touch with A10 Fusion processor, immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences, Group FaceTime and more The new Apple iPod touch is powered by Apple's A10 Fusion chip, and it is the same one found on the iPhone 7 that was launched in 2016. This new iPod touch comes in three storage variants namely 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB. While the A10 Fusion chip might be old, it is capable of handling new features which were previously unavailable on the iPod touch. According to Apple, it is introducing immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences and Group FaceTime for the first time on iPod. The company is also introducing the iPod touch in a new 256GB storage variant giving users plenty of space to store music, videos, etc. Aside from the A10 Fusion chip and the new 256GB capacity, the rest of the design remains the same.
