Samsung has been patented multi-display full screen smartphone, and it is titled as the 'Electronic device involving display,' and the patent has been granted by WIPO on July 5, 2018. The patent describes four different design variants, all of which shows a display at the front and rear.  The noticeable difference is the size of the screen edges and the placement of the camera. Depending on the design, two or three displays are used to effect the displayed design. Two models have a thin metal bezel on the sides, which also houses the antenna. However, the other design has the display running all the way around the device. The company might be using a third display for this which is significantly smaller and flexible which makes it possible to place it along the side of the device. The third display is provided with an optical transparent layer. The displays are mounted on an inner housing. Obviously, the front and rear display panels can function independently of each other. The Korean manufacturer patented a fullscreen smartphone with magnetic strips. It will use these strips to create an even larger screen area. Similar strips also appear in this patent. Though there is a patent design, we are not expecting to see such smartphone designs shortly. Source | Via
