Samsung launched the Galaxy E5 smartphone in India for Rs. 19,300 and Galaxy E7 for Rs 23,000 last month. We have already seen unboxing and photo galleries of both the phones, now let's compare the hardware of the two phones. Galaxy E5 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and the Galaxy E7 on the other hand has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display. Both these smartphones are powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor. The E5 has a 1.5GB RAM while the E7 has 2GB RAM. Both the devices have 16GB of internal storage and expandable up to 64GB with microSD also both the phones run on Android 4.4 KitKat. Both the phones have 5MP front facing camera along with the proximity and ambient light sensors and the earpiece. Both the phones have the traditional home button that is seen on Samsung devices along with the capacitive touch buttons on either sides. Both the phones have primary nano SIM slot, a hybrid SIM / microSD slot and a power button on the right side.
