Paper by FiftyThree (previously Paper) for iPad is one of the popular sketching apps for iPad since 2012. Even though it was launched for free, it had in-app purchases for accessing its tools. Now all the tools such as Draw, Sketch, Outline, Write, Color, and Mixer are available for free for everyone. The app won app of the year award from Apple in 2012 and had received several praises from creators and designers. Regarding the app going free, FiftyThree on their official blog, said, At FiftyThree, we built Paper to remove barriers to creativity by putting simple, powerful tools into people’s hands. By making Paper accessible to all, we hope to see more great ideas come to life – on Mix and everywhere.
