Meizu launched the MX4 a week back, and with a price tag that translated to less then $300 for buyers in China, the device looked like a great buy. For the first time in the history of its operations, Meizu opened pre-order for interenational customers as well, clearly suggesting that it wanted to make a name for itself globally. However, pre-order customers weren't made aware of the pricing at the time of booking. Booking opened right after the launch on 2nd September, but it is only today that the Chinese company revealed pricing for international buyers. It is priced at US$449 for those who pre-ordered the phone, which is about US$150 over the price of the device in China. Specifications 5.36-inch 1920 x 1152p display Octa-core MediaTek MT6595 CPU (4x Cortex A17, 4x Cortex A7) 2GB RAM 20.7 mega-pixel rear camera 2 mega-pixel front camera 16GB on-board ROM 3100mAh battery LTE Android 4.4.4 KitKat The device might soon have an upgraded sibling to deal with, about which we talked earlier. However, Meizu will really have to keep pricing at an affordable point to make a dent on Xiaomi, OPPO, at all markets. The only one good thing about the Meizu MX4 pre-order price is that it includes shipping costs, via DHL express. Source
