Xiaomi launched the Mi Max and Mi Max Prime in India back in 2016 running MIUI 7 based on Android Marshmallow, and got MIUI 8, MIUI 9 as well as Android Nougat updates later, now it has finally started receving MIUI 10 Stable update. MIUI 10 brings major changes like Full-screen gestures, Redesigned Notification Panel, Redesigned Volume Sliders, Improved multitasking management, natural sound system, and a lot more, for more details on MIUI 10 refer to this post. The new update comes as MIUI 10.1.1.0.NBCMIFI for both the phones, is 307MB in size, but it is based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) and still has Android security patch for April, 2018. You can download the recovery ROM here for Mi Max and Mi Max Prime and flash it using the recovery method or download the fastboot ROM here for the Mi Max  and Mi Max Prime and flash it using the fastboot method. These phones were kept in the second batch of devices along with Redmi Note 4 to receive MIUI 10 Global Stable update in India, and other devices from the second batch are also expected to receive MIUI 10 soon.
