Google is said to be working on a health and wellbeing coach fittingly called "Google Coach." Though the naming of the product might change before launch, Google, for now, is working on putting together all the ideas it has on how the service will work. Apart from being just an exercise tracker, it will also help you stay active, which is internally named 'Project Wooden.' It will leverage the data Google has on you to deliver health and fitness data proactively. It is expected to recommend workout routines, track your progress, and recommend alternatives if you miss a planned workout. The Coach is capable of logging your activity and use that data to inform future suggestions. It will also help monitor your nutrition, recommend foods and generate a weekly meal plan and shopping list, and beam it all right to your email. To tackle the notification overload, Google hopes to build conversational notifications. Rather than individual alerts telling you to take medication, get your daily steps, and drink more water, you might get a single notification that will include all three into one.
