ACT launched its Gigabit broadband services in Chennai this week. It has also upgraded its plans for users as well at no extra cost, in just 3 months after the last upgrade. In most plans speeds have also been upgraded. ACT Fibernet’s Retail 1999 plan now comes with 250Mbps speed up from 200Mbps even though the 2TB FUP remains the same. ACT is also allowing users who are using 200Mbps plan, to upgrade to Gigabit plan by paying Rs. 2000 for Gigabit switch. The company has also upgraded its SME plans from 200Mbps to 1Gbps, but the Giga plans seem like a better option since they offer more data and speed post-FUP compared to these. Plan Name Tariff (Rs.)
